There is a releasing air groove on the side of plug of wine cork plugs When the stopper is inserted into bottle, the air pressure inside the bottle will be increasing, and same time, the pressed air will be ejected from the bottle along the releasing air groove. However, there is no a releasing air groove on the top end part of wine cork plugs so the bottle will be sealed by this segment completely.
Because greatly parts of pressed air have already been ejected when wine cork plugs is inserted into bottle, the increased pressure is very small inside bottle, and is far smaller than the friction between plug and wall of bottle. Therefore, the wine cork plugs can never be popped-up.
Thus, there is completely sealing function with this kind of bottle stopper.
